Here are your ordering options:
LARGE CARRY OUT ORDERS - Orders of ten or more items from the café can be made same day for pick-up at Violetta (at the park). Just make your selections from our seasonal menu (rotisserie chicken excluded) and call 503-233-3663 (503-233-FOOD) or fax us your order at 503-234-6209. We'll make sure your order is ready for pick-up at the counter within an hour (depending on line queue volume, some restrictions on orders may apply), and process your payment in advance so you're truly in-and-out.
DELIVERED BOX LUNCHES / MEALS - Orders of ten or more BOX LUNCHES / MEALS can be placed one day in advance by 5:00 pm, and delivered free of charge to your location downtown and close-in Portland Monday through Friday between 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (some restrictions and delivery charges may apply). Call us at 503-233-3663 (503-233-FOOD) or fax us your order at 503-234-6209. You may also email your box lunch / meal orders with our simple online order form (below) to Catering@Violettapdx.com.
Our lunches include any cold sandwich we're offering seasonally, simple mixed green salad or our house-made sea salt & pepper chips, fresh baked "jumbo" cookie, and your choice of iced tea*, coffee*, or bottled soda service for $12.00 each. *(includes cream, milk, sugar, honey, sweeteners, and lemon)
CATERED EVENTS - Specially prepared foods from our Belmont Kitchen can be ordered 24 hours in advance and are delivered to your location served in a style meant to be enjoyed by larger groups. We'll gladly help you determine the right amount of food for your event. Call us at 503-233-3663 (503-233-FOOD) for larger group orders.
- Sandwiches are presented cut in half and arranged on a tray.
- Sides and salads are served in large serving containers.
- Soups arrive in an insulated thermos.
- Desserts are beautifully arranged on platters.
- Coffee and tea are served in large disposable containers and service includes cream, milk, sugar, honey, sweeteners, and lemon.
- We include all paper products and utensils, making your setup and cleanup simple.
Since all of our ingredients are prepared from scratch, it is best to give a minimum of 24 hours notice for catering orders. This way, we can be sure to have every menu item available for you to select. Of course, we understand that needs can arise with no time to spare and we will always do everything we can to fulfill even the most last-minute request (additional charges may apply).
CUSTOM CATERING - Distant Sun Catering at our Belmont Kitchen is available to hand craft menus for every occasion and dietary need.
